Embrace the New Environment: Don't Be Nervous!

Feeling nervous about attending your Future Ready Day? You’re not alone! Remember, everyone else is in the same boat, but our friendly teams are here to guide you every step of the way. Rest assured, we’ve got your back with additional support and advice available, including extra learning resources and enrolment information.

Ask Those Burning Questions!

Don’t hesitate to ask questions during your Future Ready Day. Whether it’s about your chosen course, campus facilities, or student life, you’ll have lots of chances to chat to our teams who are here to provide you with all the answers you need.

Dive into Activities!

Our tutors have lots of exciting things planned for you, so make the most of your day by getting stuck in and participating in hands-on activities related to your course of interest. Whether it’s experimenting in a science lab, creating art in the studio, or exploring technology in our workshops, these activities offer a glimpse into the exciting opportunities awaiting you when you join us. So, roll up your sleeves and dive right in!

Meet Your Future Peers!

Whilst Future Ready days are a great opportunity to explore your campus and college environment, they’re also a great way to chat to your course mates and make new friends. Don’t worry, our tutors will be on-hand with lots of ice breaker activities to get you started!

Keep an Eye on Your Emails!

After a hands-on day of trying new things, exploring your campus, and meeting course mates and tutors, your journey doesn’t end there! Keep an eye on your emails and WhatsApp for important updates and follow-ups. Whether it’s regarding enrolment procedures, additional support services, or upcoming events, staying connected ensures you’re always one step ahead in your college preparations.

Unsure about anything? Get in touch!

If you’ve thought of questions when the day is over, need anymore information or are unsure about anything, get in touch. We’ve got lots of ways you can contact us, phone, live chat, WhatsApp, social media, and email. If we can’t get back to you straight away, we have lots of information on our website too.

I’m not sure I’ve been invited, what should I do?

As long as you have an offer of a place with us for a full-time course and have attended a meet the team event, you can log into your college account and book onto an available session. If you have applied to more than one course, you will receive an invitation to attend a session for each course you have an offer for so please check your emails.

If you’ve followed these steps and are still unsure, please get in touch with our admissions team over email: feadmissions@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk.

I haven’t applied yet, is it too late?

No – we’re still accepting applications for September 2024. If you apply after the Future Ready day for your chosen course has taken place, don’t worry. Once you’re offered a place you’ll be invited to an enrolment session in the summer. It’s really important you come along to this, as this will be your opportunity to visit your campus and meet with our admissions team who will answer your questions and confirm the process with you.
