Who we need & What you will bring
We are looking for a Variable Hours Beauty Lecturer who is a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher to join our faculty. Hair and Beauty at Nottingham College is delivered from our Adams Campus as well as our commercial salon in Nottingham City Centre. Our courses include full and part time delivery. The successful applicant will be teaching short beauty courses as well as providing cover across level 1, 2 and 3. You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both pupils and colleagues. You will have an imaginative approach to teaching that generates wonderfully creative lessons to fully engage and inspire your students.
Applicants should have recent experience of teaching either in their current or previous teaching post. Applicants should have the ability to work as part of a team and develop and share innovative and stimulating teaching and learning resources.
Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE sector and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. As such, applicants must also have a good sense of humour, the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
You will have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one and be passionate about being a professional educator to young people and adults.
