Motor vehicle apprenticeships aren't just about fixing car engines. We have a wide range apprenticeships in other areas such as body repair, auto-electrical and motorcycles.

We are local leaders in motor vehicle training and work with brand dealerships as well as independent garages, repair centres and automotive parts dealers. We are the region’s most established provider of automotive training, with courses approved by the motor industry body: the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).

Our workshops are fully equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and technology, to ensure our apprentices have the most up-to-date industry knowledge, and hands-on experience with the kit used by motor industry professionals.

Our motor vehicle apprenticeships can be both day release or block release.

We are proud to offer a range of apprenticeships, from Level 2 through to Levels 3 and 4 and include the servicing and repair of electrical and hybrid vehicles.

We have responded to industry needs by increasing our motor vehicle apprenticeship content and training - which have been specially designed to provide the practical skills, experience and knowledge needed to thrive in a modern, competitive and ever growing automotive industry.

All of our motor vehicle apprenticeships equip our apprentices with the skills and abilities that are becoming more and more important to employers in the industry - especially as sales of hybrid and electric vehicles increase. These skills open up more opportunities to Nottingham College students, with demand expected to continue to increase in the future.
