14 – 16 Entry Level Pathway to Study

Course outline

This one-year Entry Level programme is for students in the equivalent of Years 10 or 11 and will provide students with the skills and knowledge to progress onto further programmes at Nottingham College e.g. GCSE or vocational options.

The course usually runs over 3 or 4 days and includes:

  • AQA Entry Level Certificate in English
  • AQA Entry Level Certificate in Maths
  • AQA Entry Level Certificate in Science
  • ASDAN Personal Development Programme (Bronze Award)
  • Tutorial programme focused on careers and progression
  • A number of trips including to the Council House and Nottingham Castle

Students on this programme can also apply for one of our half-day short courses for home educated students (timetable permitting).
