Course Introduction
If you want to make the most of your food shopping and would like to learn to cook delicious, nutritious meals, this course is for you!
The course includes:
- Introduction to kitchen, health and food safety
- Batch cooking
- How to use cheaper ingredients to create nutritious meals, for example.
Course Information
College Certificate
There are no entry requirements but you must have an interest in cooking and learning how to make meals on a budget. You must be aged 19+.
The tutor will give verbal feedback throughout the course.
You can progress to the Entry 3 Certificate in Introduction to Hospitality.
Please wear and apron and fully covered shoes to each class.
