If you want to provide high-quality and compassionate specialist health and social care for a range of people then this apprenticeship maybe for you.
You will complete a Level 4 Diploma covering a range of units to help develop and strengthen knowledge and understanding in management. There are also optional units so you can work towards understanding in your area.

Duration | Minimum of 18 months depending on experience. |

Entry requirements | You will need at least 5 GCSEs at Grades 9 - 4 (A* - C) including Maths at Grade 9 - 6 (A - B), English and Science or their equivalent. Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to have achieve this prior to taking the end point assessment. You will also need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in a relevant job but we can assist you in finding a placement. Adults who are aged 19+ with appropriate industry experience but without the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply. All applicants will be required to undertake an assessment in English and maths prior to enrolling. |
Teaching & assessment | This qualification is assessed in the workplace. The delivery will be a mixture of face-to-face and on-line. Observations in the workplace with an on-line portfolio. End point assessment includes an observation and a professional discussion. |
Progression | Apprentices normally progress to the Level 5 Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship, once they have stepped up into a management position. |
