Training in oral health for care staff is a requirement set by the Care Quality Commission for residents in care homes. Participants will learn to identify dental care issues and promote the maintenance of good oral health.

Unit 4: Principles for Providing Oral Care in a Health and Social Care Setting

  • Section 1: Recognize the importance of documenting oral hygiene practices and dental treatments
