The Hyundai Advanced Apprenticeship Programme is designed to train and develop you in a way that enables you to learn the core elements of your job role using advancing technology as well as fostering an exceptional level of customer service.
The comprehensive, 3‑year Programme provides you with an exciting and challenging opportunity to achieve formal qualifications through extensive product training, while in full-time employment at a Hyundai dealer.
On completion, you will gain a full Apprenticeship Completion Certificate from the IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry); including IMI Awards Ltd qualifications at Level 3 for VCQ (Vocationally Competent Qualification) and VRQ (Vocationally Related Qualification).
As part of the apprenticeship you will also complete Functional Skills, Core Skills or Essential Skills Wales depending on if you live in England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland. A Level 2 Employment Rights and Responsibilities qualification is also included.
Additionally a number of Hyundai Technical Training courses will be completed to ensure that you have the most up to date knowledge and skills on Hyundai product.

Qualifications required:
5 GCSE’s at grade A* to C including Maths, English, a Science and ICT are essential.
The Application Process
Applications can be made via our vacancies page where you are able to view the UK dealers who have an Apprentice vacancy.
On applying for a particular vacancy you will be asked to complete an online assessment and upload your CV. You will then receive a telephone call to discuss your interest in becoming a Hyundai Apprentice Technician.
If you are successful at this stage of the recruitment process you will be invited for a face to face interview with the dealer.
Dealers will make their employment decisions based upon the most suitable applicant for their position.

Your salary will be set by the dealership, however the national minimum hourly rates, effective from 1 April 2023, are:
FIRST YEAR (This rate is for apprentices aged 16 – 18 and those aged 19 or over in their first year)
Minimum hourly rate = £6.40
SECOND AND THIRD YEAR
- Under 18 — Minimum hourly rate = £6.40
- Aged 18 – 20 — Minimum hourly rate = £8.60
- Aged 21 and over — Minimum hourly rate = £11.44
