You're invited to our Basford Open Evening

We are running Open Evening events in October/November 2024 and January 2025 across five of our locations.

Students, parents, and visitors will be able to:

  • Attend a Q&A session.
  • See/tour our facilities.
  • Meet our tutors.
  • Find out about our courses and information related to college.
  • There will be a market place area featuring student finance, careers, student enrichment.
  • Discover our progression options, from Level 1 all the way through to degree level study.

Q&A session

All Open Evening events will have a Q&A session running approximately every 30 minutes.

Facilities at Basford:

  • Construction Skills Centre (coming soon).
  • Centre for Supported Learning (coming soon).
  • Crime Scene House.
  • Multi-sensory interactive immersive room.

Travel Information

Basford is serviced by numerous major bus routes heading out of the City Centre and into other areas of the city.

From Nottingham's Victoria Centre take the 71 or 72 (Yellow Line) and get off at Stockhill Lane or Bagnall Road. From the Broadmarsh Centre, Collin Street or George Street, take the 79 (Turquoise Line) to Broxtowe Lane and Nuthall Road junction.

Cinderhill tram stop is less than 10 minutes walk from the College, connecting us with Nottingham City Centre and beyond! You can find timetables and more information on the Nottingham Express Transit website

Nottingham Train Station is approximately 20 minutes away by car or taxi. For further information on train times and operators check online at thetrainline.com

Car parking is available for which there is a charge of £3 per day or £1.50 per half day. There are parking machines on site or you can pay using the Ringo app.
