Money Matters

If your son or daughter is aged 16 – 18 their course will be free, however there may be additional costs which are unrelated to the course fee, for example, hair and beauty equipment, sports kit or protective clothing. If there are additional costs for the course your son or daughter has chosen, they’ll be notified once they’ve made their application and financial support may be available to help with these costs as well as travelling to college.

If they are aged 19 or over, they may have to pay for tuition as well. The cost of course depends on many different things, including age and personal circumstances. There may also be loans or grants available to support them as will as help with travel, equipment and childcare.
