Building on the incredible success of last year, when we proudly brought home three Good for ME, Good for FE Awards, we are thrilled to announce another milestone.
During this year’s prestigious Association of Colleges (AoC) Annual Conference, it was revealed that we have been shortlisted in an outstanding six award categories!
• Team/College Fundraiser of the Year
• Individual Fundraiser of the Year
• Staff Volunteer of the Year
• Volunteering Coordinator of the Year
• Student Volunteer of the Year
• Outstanding Long Service Award for Volunteering
What are the awards about?
Good for ME, Good for FE host annual awards recognising special individuals that have gone above and beyond to give back to their communities. There are eight categories and we’re beyond ecstatic to share that our staff and students have been nominated for six of them!
Good for ME, Good for FE is a national campaign driving a sustainable programme of community action. Colleges from across the UK come together to support the programme by encouraging their staff and students to get involved in a variety of volunteering and fundraising activities that benefits the wider community. In the last two years alone, the campaign has generated over £4m of social value.
When will the winners be announced?
Being shortlisted across six categories highlights the breadth and depth of our impact, from supporting students’ personal and professional development to driving meaningful contributions to the wider community. A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in this success!
The winners will be announced at a special event held at the House of Lords on 6th December.
Fingers crossed!
