Campus Description

At our Basford campus we have some exciting new developments going on! We are building two new facilities at the same time! Find out more on our Basford Developments page.

Our Basford campus was built in 2015 and is a large, bright and modern campus housing our construction training centre, animal science, health and social care, sport and public services courses as well as our provision catering for those with additional educational needs.

The construction training centre has a national reputation for the quality of education and training on offer. Huge workshops accommodate our plastering, brickwork, painting and decorating and plumbing students and our science labs house our resident animals who act as great teachers for our animal care students.

Our Basford campus also houses our sport and public services provision which take advantage of the outdoor green space surrounding the campus, as well as our onsite gym and fitness facilities.

We are about to build a new dedicated centre for our students with additional needs on the site too, thanks to £4m of government funding – a perfect opportunity to give our construction students a live project to work on, to hone their skills.
