If you decide that you want to develop your skills through work, an apprenticeship may be the right choice for you.
Apprenticeships provide you with an opportunity to gain new skills, knowledge and develop behaviours that are required in a particular occupation. You will earn a weekly wage, and you will spend 20% of your working hours training. You will gain a recognised industry qualification and some of these are to degree level, whilst studying you will put your skills into practice whilst building your confidence in your occupation.
A wide range of industries provide apprenticeship opportunities across a variety of sectors and Apprenticeship training is of a high standard and only training providers who are on the register of apprenticeship training providers can deliver the training.
