GCSEs

Full-time GCSEs

If you are 16 – 18 and looking to take or resit a GCSE programme, you have come to the right page’

Our GCSE options give you the opportunity to take three to five GCSEs to improve your grade profile, which you can then use as a stepping stone to further study.

There are a range of GCSEs to choose from, so you can keep your options open about what you’d like to study in the future. These include: Biology, Business, Chemistry, Geography, History, Maths, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies and Sociology.

You will study the programme over one year, with friendly and supportive teaching staff at our High Pavement Sixth Form. It is an intensive resit course which aims to help you build the skills and knowledge you have to achieve grade 4 or above in specific subjects.

If you don’t already have GCSE English Language and maths at grade 4/grade C or above, one or both will be included in your options. These two GCSEs are often specifically required by universities and employers and will help set you up for any future career.

The GCSE programme requires a lot of self-motivation and commitment, but in return we’ll be there with you every step of the way. Your future is important to us!
